| Summerhill Folly Ceilidh
Band are Dave Minikin (caller), Ethan Hack (lead fiddle), John Wheeler
(banjo and accordion), Norman Bell (fiddle and whistle) and Terry Hanson
(guitar). We came together in 1989 when a ceilidh band failed to turn
up, something we are careful not to do. We
believe that dances should be fun, and not workshops, and to this end
the caller tries to make everyone feel at ease and relaxed. If there are
young people present, magic and/or children's games can be part of the
entertainment.
We cater for all manner of events/venues (eg
weddings, wakes, BBQs, social functions, fundraisers, etc), and provide
our own sound system. |
