| Having been forced to
leave the Delaval Arms, Bluestone Folk Club, due to problems with the
live music licence we have moved to the Monkseaton Arms, Monkseaton.
Hence the name Monkey, this is a common nickname for the pub. Everybody
needs to be a member but this should not deter you from attending. Metro
station nearby, ample parking and a good bus service. |

Singaround:
accompanied, unaccompanied, solo musicians, duos, groups - all are
welcome. |
|

Traditional,
contemporary, all genres. |

Excellent harmonies
guaranteed! |
|

|
Separate room, no
smoking. |

|
| Because of the friendly
atmosphere, the great harmonies and the good beer, many performers
choose to make the Monkey their 'local' folk club. Click the dancing
notes below to hear MP3 samples of some of our regulars. |
